1. Bookings & Deposits

A 50% deposit is required to confirm any booking. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Bookings are confirmed in writing only upon receipt of the deposit.

2. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation 90+ days before arrival: full deposit refund minus administration fee.
• Cancellation 60–89 days before arrival: 50% of deposit forfeited.
• Cancellation 30–59 days before arrival: full deposit forfeited.
• Cancellation less than 30 days: full booking amount forfeited.

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation.

3. Rates & Inclusions

Quoted rates are for exclusive island use. All rates are subject to applicable taxes and levies. USD rates are indicative and invoicing is in ZAR. Inclusions vary by season and package — confirm at time of booking.

4. Liability

Guests participate in all activities at their own risk. Samonyana accepts no liability for loss, injury, or illness arising from any cause beyond our reasonable control. Comprehensive travel and medical insurance is mandatory for all guests.

5. Island Rules

All guests are required to respect the island's wildlife and ecosystem. Our guides' instructions regarding wildlife proximity must be followed at all times. Any behaviour that endangers wildlife, guests, or staff may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Botswana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Botswana.
